Project Vision
To create an indoor facility that will provide multipurpose sporting and recreational opportunities for local schools
and the wider
community, contribute to the development of our future
cricketers, promote health through participation in sport and recreation and enhance and grow interaction within the community.
Facility Location
Located adjacent to the current Parnell Cricket and Grammar Junior Rugby Clubrooms, Shore Rd,
Remuera, Auckland.
Fundraising is making great progress but we need your help to complete the total needed and realize this project for our current
and
future generations!

.Huge achievement to get to the fundraising target!!
We are absolutely delighted to say we have reached our fundraising target!! The construction is in progress and we will be operational near the start of the cricket season! With the requirement to fund contract variations, cameras, bowling machines etc we are still accepting donations to the wall however but be in quick as it will be up before we know it! This is a huge achievement thanks to all the community support we have received. We look forward to the opening!
Blue waters Community Trust - $58,000!
We are extremely grateful to the Blue waters Community Trust to help fund the electrical contract for the facility. This is a very generous donation and makes a huge difference to achieving our target.
New Zealand Cricket Foundation - $30,000
Thank you very much to the New Zealand Cricket Foundation in helping us fund part of the fit out for the facility. Very grateful they have got behind us to help complete this great community asset.
Hobson Community Board - 100,000!!
What a huge support this is!! Thank you so much to Desley Simpson, Chair of the Hobson Community Board who, along with her Councillors and members, have really got behind this project and supported us by sharing our vision to provide a fantastic facility for the local area. At her Board meeting last night Desley said “ Having researched your project well, I am proud to be able to support you and your competent, capable team as you work towards bringing Project Twentyeleven to fruition for the betterment of our youth and the Hobson Ward community at large”. This is a significant contribution from Desley and the Board and we are extremely grateful for their support. We look forward to an ongoing partnership with them to ensure we make this an asset we can all be proud of.

Construction about to commence (end of May)
Cunningham Construction, who have been awarded the building contract, are about to get their crew down to Shore Rd and commence building. After the countless hours put into the project over the last few years by so many people it will be great to turn what has been a vision for so long into a reality.
$35,000 Grant support from Pub Charity
We have just heard that Pub Charity have very kindly approved a $35k donation to the project to put the astro turf down in the new facility. We are very grateful for this support in helping us get to our target.

$50,000 Grant support from NZCT
New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) have just had board approval for a $50k donation to the project - this is great news and we are delighted that they can assist us in helping us get to our target.
$50,000 Grant support from Lion Foundation
We are delighted to announce that we have just heard that we are the recipient of a $50,000 grant from the Lion Foundation. We are extremely grateful to them as it is a tough environment for Grants and we are delighted that they have chosen our project as one to support. A great boost to our fundraising!

$60,000 Grant Support from Perry Foundation
We would like to thank the Perry Foundation for their very generous support to the project by a recent $60,000 Grant. This is a fantastic injection in our fundraising and one we are very grateful for.
