  • BOYS YEAR 9/10:

Eligibility for this grade will be based on the player's school year in the year in which the season starts, i.e. for the 2016-17 season, players must be in either Year 9 or Year 10 at school in 2016.

The Year 9/10 grade runs as 3 distinct competitions – a 4-week 1-Day competition from October 29th until college cricket finishes in late November, a 4-week Twenty20 competition from November 26th to December 17th (2 games per day), and post-Christmas 1-Day and 2-Day competitions through February and March. Players initially register for the first-half of the season only – this registration covers both the pre-Christmas 1-Day and T20 games. Teams will need to be re-formed for the T20 and second-half depending on the number of players who register for these competitions.

The T20 competition in December provides the opportunity for those boys playing Colts cricket at school (or those playing morning school cricket but who do not also play an afternoon club game in the LO comp) to re-engage with their former Club mates. Players will be able to register for this competition in November. (EDCA Associate Members of PCC are eligible to play in this T20 comp without further subscription being paid.)

Teams play against clubs from the Auckland region so some travel is required to game venues when playing away from home. All games are played in the afternoons - 1:45pm whist school cricket is being played and 12:30pm when it isn't.

The Year 9&10 grade runs as three separate competitions – pre-Xmas there is a 4 week 1-day competition followed by a 4 week T20 competition.  The 1st half subscription covers entry to both these competitions.

Year 9 & 10                                               $215 (includes photo)
Year 9 & 10 – T20 only                               $50

Post-Christmas, both 2-day and 1-day competitions are available.

This grade will also comprise two half seasons with entries called for again in January.
