Parnell Cricket currently are entered in two separate Twenty/20 competitions, both of which commence in the new year. These are the Sunday T/20 competition and the Monday evening Business House competition.
Sunday Competition
This is an excellent competition for those who are unable to commit to a full weekend of cricket. It is organised through Auckland Cricket. Games commence in late January starting at 3pm, and run through to the end of March, cumulating in a round-robin playoff. Standard is high and competition is tough, but enjoyable.
Monday Business House Competition.
This fun, 8-a-side competition is run on Monday evenings commencing at 5.30pm. Teams are organised by individual companies' social clubs. Emphasis is on enjoyment and the club encourages both male and female participants. It commences in early February and runs until daylight saving ends. Gear is provided. Last season we had six teams competing and hopefully will increase the number to eight this season.
