2018-19 SENIOR TRAINING SESSIONS:

All sessions are held indoors in the Terry Jarvis Centre, Shore Road, Remuera. Times are as follows:

  • Twice weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting Tuesday 2nd October from 6.00pm to 9.00pm

  • PREMIERS

Ian West has been appointed as the Club's Senior coach for the 2018-19 season. Ian brings a wealth of experience and coaching knowledge to the Club which is required for this demanding role.

  • PREMIER RESERVES

Roy Goodyear, a L3 professional coach of many years standing has been reappointed as coach of the Premier Reserves squad. Roy can be contacted on 027-2223433 or email upanup@xtra.co.nz. He will be ably assisted by Ian during the season.

  • TRAINING TIMES:

Normal training during the season will be held at Shore Road nets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm, or at other times as requested by the coach.

  • PLAYING GEAR: 

The Club encourages all players to support the Club's sponsor Players Sports, 14 Melrose Street, Newmarket. Ph 522 8170, when purchasing cricket gear. They have a full range of all cricket gear with the added advantage of being able to purchase on-line.

  • PLAYING CONDITIONS:

  • SCORING

CricHQ will again be used as the Auckland Cricket Competition Management and Live Scoring System for the 2018-19 season.

The results of all games must be entered in CricHQ by 5pm on the Monday after the weekend of play.

GENERAL INFORMATION.

The Club's Premier and Premier Reserve teams compete in Auckland Cricket's one and two day competitions that commence in early October and go through to the end of March. The players from these teams are the club's elite and many of them progress to higher honours, representing Auckland, Auckland Aces and New Zealand.

The Club also has two other 2 Day teams, this season competing in the 4th & 7th Grades of the Auckland Cricket competition. These are serious and competitive grades, playing in both one and two day competitions. Many of the players in these grades progress to the higher grades as their standard improves or as required to cover for absent players.
