Registrations for the 2024-25 playing season will open in early September, 2024.

Please note that this season, all members must be registered on PlayHQ, in addition to Parnell CC’s own registration platform.

  • WEEKLY DRAW

The weekly draw for the season can be found by visiting the Auckland Cricket website.

  • PRACTICE SESSIONS:

Weekly practices on Wednesdays from 6.00-7.00 pm. These are usually held at the Shore Road nets although may be indoors in the Terry Jarvis Centre if the weather is dubious. An enjoyable after practice refreshment or two is always available in the Club rooms.

The Shore Road nets are reserved for Parnell CC members at all times. Nets are reserved for junior club members from 4pm-6pm, and senior members from 6pm onwards, from Monday – Friday. This is from a safety view.

  • General

Parnell has a very keen and enthusiastic Presidents side that caters for the older (Over 40’s) player who still wishes to play competitive cricket. The team is the backbone of the club with many of their players having played in Representative teams.

This Grade plays one day games on Saturday afternoons. The season commences in early November and runs through to the end of March.

Parnell Presidents always welcome new "older" players who still wish to play the game.

  • PLAYING GEAR: 

The Club encourages all players to support the Club's sponsor Players Sports, 7/273 Nielson Street, Onehunga. Ph 522 8170, when purchasing cricket gear. They have a full range of all cricket gear with the added advantage of being able to purchase on-line.

  • RULES & PLAYING CONDITIONS:

The playing rules for Senior Cricket by Auckland Cricket are available on the Auckland Cricket website.

  • SCORING

This season scoring will be done using PlayHQ. This scoring platform replaces CricHQ that has been used by Auckland Cricket over the past few seasons.

The results of all games must be entered in PlayHQ by 5pm on the Monday after the weekend of play.
