GENERAL

  • PLAYING CONDITIONS (Rules)

It is the Club’s policy that all players, from U10 & up, must play in their correct grade as governed by their age (as at 1st April). However, if a player shows exceptional skills, then that player may play up one grade after seeking dispensation from the club manager.

A player must repeat playing in the U12 grade if he has been playing up a grade to U12 the previous season. He cannot play up to the U13 grade. This is because the U13 grade disbands at Christmas, as post-Christmas, those players play for their college.

Dispensation must be given by Auckland Cricket to those players who wish to play down a grade.

Full details of the 2023-24 Junior Playing Conditions for these grades can be found on the Auckland Cricket Website(Under Cricket Express Junior & Youth Playing Conditions).
